Thanks for checking in!
I’m going to start this off with a quote:
May You Always Have…
Walls For The Wind
A Roof For The Rain
A Drink By The Fire
Laughter To Cheer You & The Ones You Love
One year ago today, I posted this on Facebook, followed by:
“Thank you for everything Ireland. It has been an amazing experience but now it’s time to close another chapter in my life and start a new one”.
One Year Ago
Back then, it was two years ago since I moved to Dublin the first time. Like some of you know, I moved back to Denmark for a while because I thought that was what I wanted – it turned out that it wasn’t.
I went back home, only to return to Dublin a short while later.
Anywho, today it has been one year, since I moved back to Denmark. One year ago since I made a mistake of leaving this country behind. I left in good faith. I didn’t think I would return. I honestly thought I was going to stay in Denmark for a while – I did. Just a short while.
Much has happened since. Both good and bad things. Most importantly, I’m doing what I love. I’m living abroad, which is what’s it’s all about at the moment.
I can’t predict the future. I don’t know what’s going to happen within the next few months/years. I know, that I have a lot more to achieve here in – not necessarily in Dublin, but abroad. I have some things I need to prove to myself. Some goals I wrote down before I left Denmark – and I’m going to do my best to achieve them.
For now, things are alright in Dublin – but you never know what the future might bring…
It turned out to be a bit longer than expected, but that’s the good thing about just writing without thinking it through, which is what this is all about. Talking about every day thoughts and struggles. If you think too much about it, it’s not going to be what you truely think or feel.
I hope you guys enjoy it. I hope this might be able to inspire you. I’m happy that more and more people are actually following me and liking my posts. I appreciate it.
That’s it for now.
