So, if you follow my blog you’ll know that I gave myself a challenge to cut down on electronics. You can read the first post here.
Basically, I gave myself some basic rules on when and for how long I had to be “free of electronics” every day.
I’ve been doing it for 2 weeks now and I still feel amazing. Every day putting the phone away, shutting off the TV and computer for one hour before bed has really changed my sleeping pattern. So much that I’ve actually been putting away my phone more and more – I “need” my computer to apply for jobs and write posts here but other than that I try to use it as little as possible.
Since Last Update
Since my last update I’ve been really focused on reading more. I’m currently reading The Autobiography by Roy Keane. It’s about 270 pages. Probably not a whole lot you think, but when you aren’t used to reading it can feel like a lot of pages.

I surprised myself though. I’m currently at page 207, so I’ve been reading quite a fair amount every night since I started the challenge. I’m surprised how easy I find it but I guess with the right motivation it’s easy to do something you enjoy.
I’m still eating alright. I try to eat differently but I’m not creative enough to do that, haha. I need somebody to cook for me..
As mentioned in the previous update my sleeping pattern is better than ever. Only issue is that it is crazy warm in Denmark and I do not cope well with warmth. So that would be the only thing keeping me awake – other than that I sleep like a baby.
I don’t have any issues or need to check my phone anymore. I pick up the phone if somebody’s calling me but other than that it’s in the bedroom while I read in the living room or go for a walk.
Since I’ve been closing down my Macbook every evening I decided to do something else. I’ve actually been writing – with my hands, with an actual pen… I haven’t done that in a LONG time. I decided to dream away with my Lonely Planet book and my World map. It all ended up with an updated bucket list as my dreams has changed over the last months.

Other than that I’m just enjoying my walks and getting some fresh air. Clearing thoughts and thinking about what to write down for you awesome people to read in tomorrows post.
Pretty awesome view isn’t it? This is about 10 minutes away from my home and a popular spot just next to the city center of Aalborg, Denmark.
That’s it guys, just a really quick update. Over all everything is going great and I’ll keep going with the challenge and I’ll keep you guys updated. Hopefully, it will end up with some of you guys doing the same thing. And in the long run it hopefully wont be a challenge anymore but a lifestyle choice.
