Snack Time!

Hey guys,

Thanks for checking in!

If you’re like me, not having the great skills in the kitchen, you might appreciate this recipe. This is a super easy and super cheap recipe for a snack, appetizer or a side – and it tastes amazing.

You probably know it already – it’s called bruschetta, but sometimes you just need a kick of motivation – don’t worry, I’m here to help you 😉

The Shopping List

So, here’s what you need:

4-5 bruschettas:

3 Tomatoes
1 Clove of garlic
10 leaves of basil
2 Tablespoon olive oil
Pinch of salt & sugar
4-5 Pieces of bread

The Chopping & Pressing

Chop the tomatoes into cubes20180711_1509433270025837027096449.jpg

Press your garlic. Preferably, use the correct tool and do not chop it, as this will leave chops of garlic – and we really do not want that! 😀 20180711_1511167377996219694052711.jpg

Chop your basil. 20180711_1514411792568610176589872.jpg

Add a pinch of sugar and salt + 2 tablespoons of olive oil. 20180711_1516187736951075042768279.jpg

I like to leave the “mix” in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes before serving. Leaving it cold and also it will allow the spices to kind of melt together.

When you’ve mixed everything and cooled it down (if you want), you should toast your bread. I like to buy newly baked bread when making this as it will make your bruschetta so much better!20180711_152031734581832497997722.jpg

The End Result

So, this is really easy – it takes no time to prepare, it looks great and most importantly, it tastes amazing!

If you’ve never seen bruschetta before, here’s what they look like. Remember, I’m not a pro, so my basil isn’t chopped very good… haha.

Anyway, I hope this can inspire you to make this beautiful dish next time you want to create something easy!

Thanks for reading guys – happy cooking,

Junior out.
