Thanks for checking in.
So, since I moved back home and since forever really I’ve wanted a world map on my wall. You know, the one with all the little red pins, the thin red cord leading from souvenirs to wherever on the map they are from.
The apartment I had before moving to Dublin had sloping walls – ALL OVER – which meant I couldn’t hang anything on the walls. Therefore, when I moved back home I wanted to find an apartment that was big enough to have this giant world map on one of the walls.
AND IT HAPPENED! Just look at this before picture:
This was before I figured out how to hang it on the wall. Thank God, my dad figured something out and this is the current result:
I didn’t think I would ever fall in love with a wall or something materialistic, but I have.. I absolutely love this wall above my desk. I can now sit here on my computer while dreaming and planning my next trip.
The Next Trip:
The next trip is actually in 48 days. In 48 days I’ll be flying out from Denmark to Amsterdam followed by New York, Florida (roadtrip) and Washington before returning to Denmark 3 1/2 weeks later.
I CAN’T WAIT!!
To finish off I want to quote one of my favorite travel influencers:
“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you” – Anthony Bourdain.
Rest In Peace, Anthony.
